Stuart "Fats" Wall is a main character in The Casual Vacancy. He is the son of Colin Wall, headmaster of Winterdown Comprehensive, and Tessa Wall the student counsellor. Fats is eventually partially responsible for the death of Robbie Weedon.

Fats is a skinny teenager with a sallow face and large ears, with a "permanantly pained expression" and a loping walk.
TV Adaption
The TV adaption shows Fats as being a lanky teenager with short, untidy brown hair and a long face. He wears casual attire such as a short-sleeved shirt, jeans and red sneakers out of school, and the standard uniform whilst at school.
